During my highschool sophomore science research, I developed a 3D thermal mapping system for UAV’s to assist first responders in locating heat signatures/survivors during natural disasters and attacks. The system included a custom built gimbal, with visible and UV cameras, and a remote connection to an app that visualized the data in a real time 3D map for the drone operator.

The project won multiple awards including: 1st place in Mechanical Engineering, Best Poster Design, The Military Aeronautics Award, and The Sustainable Project Award.
