LEICA Q3 CASE

2024 Buying my dream camera—a Leica—was a milestone. Its build quality, tactile precision, and timeless design make it more than just a tool; it’s something you form a bond with. But owning something so carefully crafted came with unexpected anxiety: the thought of scratches, damage, or losing it altogether.

Most available cases fell short of what I needed—protection, ergonomics, anti-theft features, and ease of use. So I designed my own. The result is a three-part enclosure that fully protects the camera without compromising its function or elegance.

It features a carbon fiber 3D-printed base, front plate, and top; a discreet built-in AirTag slot; a refined grip; and seamless access to the battery and SD card—no disassembly required. A future iteration includes bronze-cast top and bottom plates for added durability and a sense of lasting character.
